Zerima
Zerima

Zerima Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the iOS app Zerima, developed and operated by 重庆铱云藤网络科技有限公司 ("we").
Zerima is a video player for media on your own network shares (SMB, WebDAV), STRM links, and files on your device. We respect your privacy: Zerima does not collect any personal data.
What we don't collect
- We do not collect or upload your personal information, usage history, or device information.
- We do not track you, show ads, or include any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools.
- We do not operate any server that receives user data.
Where your data is stored
Everything you add or create in Zerima stays on your device:
- Server settings: names, addresses, and user names of the SMB / WebDAV servers you add are stored in the app.
- Passwords: stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted and protected by the system.
- Playback history and favorites: playback progress, recently played items, favorites, watch-later items, and your lists are stored in the app.
- Caches: thumbnails, durations, and similar media information. You can clear them in Settings → Storage & Cache.
- Local files: videos you import with "Add Files" are stored in the app's Documents folder and are visible in the Files app.
This data is included in your iCloud or computer backups, which are handled by Apple. We have no access to it.
Network connections
- Zerima connects only to the media sources you configure: the SMB / WebDAV servers you add, and the addresses that the STRM files you play point to.
- During playback, if a server redirects a request to another address (for example, a cloud drive download address), the app follows the redirect.
- These connections go directly between your device and those servers and never pass through any server of ours. We cannot know which servers you connect to or what you play.
- When playing HTTPS addresses, the app verifies server certificates against a built-in list of public root certificates.
Permissions
Zerima asks for the following permissions only when needed. You can change them at any time in iOS Settings:
- Local Network: to connect to the SMB shares and WebDAV servers you add on your local network.
- Add to Photos: only used when you choose "Save Image". Zerima writes to your library and never reads it.
- File access: importing files or mounting folders through the system file picker. Zerima can only access the files and folders you choose.
Crash reports
If you choose to share with app developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports. This is handled by Apple; Zerima itself does not collect them.
Deleting your data
- Deleting a server in the app also deletes its password from the Keychain.
- Deleting Zerima removes the data stored in the app. Passwords in the Keychain are managed by iOS and may remain on the device after the app is deleted; to remove them as well, delete your servers in the app first.
Children's privacy
Zerima is not directed at children and does not collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If future versions of Zerima change how data is handled, we will update this policy and its effective date.
